2 months old already!!

Today my adorable little stinker is 2 months old!! I seriously cannot believe how fast time has gone, and I absolutely hate it!! I want my baby girl to stay little forever!! She is just growing up way too fast, and has changed so much since she was born.

I am the luckiest girl in the whole world for being able to be a mommy to this amazing little girl!I love being a mom so much, it is the best job ever, and I cant imagine my life without her. She makes me and Zane so happy!Even though I'm so sad that she is growing up so fast, she is getting so fun and I cant wait to watch her grow and grow.













Here is some things about Shan:

-She is the most beautiful little baby ever!
-She got her daddys hair and dark skin color.
-She has more hair than I have ever seen on a baby. We cannot go anywhere without people going crazy about her dark, curly hair. People think we are carrying a doll.
-Ever since she was born she has had TONZ of dark hair all over her legs, arms, and back. hahah it is the cutest thing ever. She is our little monkey.
-She got my nose, lips, and curly hair.
-She is the best baby ever, unless she is hungry. If she decides she is hungry, then look out!!!! You would think I starve the poor chubbs!
-She absolutely loves her bath and getting her diaper changed. If you ever want to see her talk and laugh the most, then you have to take her diaper off and start talking to her.
-She has the most beautiful little smile. Her smile makes my whole day!
-She is SO adventurous! She LOVES being outside. She loves 4-wheeling, camping, boating, riding her horse, and riding in daddys way loud truck. (and yes, we are crazy and we have taken our 2 month old to do all those things! But she loves them so much)
-It makes me sad, but she is already so strong! Ever since she was really little she could hold her head up. She is so good at standing up with only our fingers helping her balance. She does it, gets so excited, and gets this big grin on her face. She loves being upright and looking around at everything around her. She NEVER relaxes, and will hardly ever just lay down and cuddle :(



Mommy and Daddy love you so much baby girl!! You are our everything! We love you more than anything in this whole world, and are so lucky to have you in our little family!

7lbs. 18" long!

I am way way behind.. so much has happened since I last blogged, but I will try my hardest to catch up as fast as I can. Our gorgeous baby girl was born on June 22nd, and it has changed our lives forever in such a good way. This little girl is our whole world. The moment she came into the world was the best day of our lives. Who knew you could love such a little girl as much as we love her. We are so in love, and feel so blessed to have such an amazing angel in our family. Everyday we ask ourselves how we got so lucky to be her parents.

After only 3 hours of labor, and 5 minutes of pushing, our sweet little love was here. I cant even begin to put that moment into words, it was the most amazing experience I have ever gone through. I will never forget the day I first saw the most beautiful girl in the whole world with all that dark, curly hair.

Our baby GIRL!!!!!!! ♥

We are having an adorable baby girl on June 25th! Ever since I was a really little girl if anyone would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always say I wanted to be a mom. Well time has flew by, and I cant believe that the time has already come that I actually get to be a mom!! Zane and I couldn't be happier. We love her so much already, and are so excited to finally meet our little baby girl. I am almost 32 weeks, and I think this might be the longest two months of my life. I just cant wait.

Our sweet princess is getting so big and growing bigger and bigger everyday. She is cramed in my stomach already, im not sure how she can get any bigger. She already has a strong personality and we are definately going to have our hands full when she is born! She doesn't stop moving all day or night. She flips and kicks like crazy. For as hard as she kicks me all day, she better be an amazing little soccer player. She is also going to be one spoiled little stinker, she already has so many people that love and spoil her so much.

He is already so cute with her, he loves feeling her move, he talks to her, and gives her kisses. He is so excited for her to finally get here. She has her dad wrapped around her little finger already and she isn't even born yet! She is going to be daddys little cowgirl :)

Shanlee's cute room :) Its not all the way finished, but getting pretty close. The crib, bedding, & dresser are from my parents. I love that the crib and dresser were the same ones that i slept in when I was a baby, and now my baby gets to use them :) Thanks mom & dad!!

Carson Summer 2010

I love summer!!!! Zane and I have had such a fun summer this year! we just love being with eachother and have so much fun. We never want it to end!!!! Here are a couple pictures of some of the fun things we have done.

For the 4th of July we went to Lake Powell with Zane's family... we had a blast!







yep..that's right, I'm the only one that was strong enough to stay on! hahahah

The best calling in the world!!

Zane and I got put into the primary right after we moved into the ward.. and they gave us the best calling we could ever get! We get to teach the darling sunbeams. I absolutely love spending Sunday with these adorable kids! Let me tell you, our little sunbeams are the cutest kids I have ever seen!!!! We are so lucky to have this great calling, I couldn't ask for a better one. When they are a sumbeam, they are at the cutest and funnest age! Four year olds are always smiling, they love everyone they meet, they always want to hug you or sit on your lap, and they make you happy. I just love them all so much! They make me so excited to be a mom and have a little sunbeam of my own some day :) And I hope they my kids are just like these sweet little kids.

Fathers Day!

For those of you who know me, know that I am a major daddys girl!!! Ever since I can remember my dad has always been my very best friend. He was the one I went shopping with, went to lunch with, played sports with, painted my fingernails, did my hair, and who I talked to. I would rather just hang out and do stuff with my dad than with a bunch of friends. I was always with my dad.. and I always wanted my dad to be with me. Even when I was three I wanted to marry my dad and I would always ask him that when I grow up if he could take me braw shopping. I know everyone says this about there dads, but I am truly grateful to have the best dad in the world! I feel bad for all of you out there that cant have my dad as there dad.. cause I dont know what I would have done without him in my life. He is such a great example to me and taught me so much, which made me the girl I am today. I have missed him alot since I have gotten married and moved away, its hard not seeing him everyday.. but I also have love being married so much, and I know that one day Zane is going to be a great dad just like my dad. I love you so much dad! Thank you for being there for me and everything that you have done for me in my life! Happy Fathers Day!

Pee-ewwww!!!!!

Last night I found the animal that I absolutely hate the most out of the other animals in this world, even more than snakes!! (I know thats hard to believe) but that animal is a SKUNK!!!!

We found out last night that a skunk has been living under out house. We definately found out the hardest way possible! Our dogs could smell it under the house, and being the good dogs they are.. they kept barking and barking and just had to get it. I hurry and tried to get them away from the house so that they couldn't make the skunk too mad, but of course, with my luck the skunk sprayed all over the place! For those of you who have never been to our house, it is really small! So the horrible smell went right into our house and stayed there!

I always knew that skunks smell bad, even stupid people know that! But I never thought that they smell near as bad as this skunk made out house smell. All night I kept waking up to the horrible smell. This morning I went to work, and I thought I was fine.. but as soon as I walked in they made me take my scrubs off they were so bad! hahah, and then of course I got made fun of all day! And I will probably get made fun of for the rest of my life for it now. The sad thing is that the scrubs I was wearing that day were in a drawer until I put them on and walked out the door. So unless I want to smell like a skunk for a couple weeks and get made fun of, I get to wash all of the clothes that I own. Today I went to the store and bought a bunch of febreze.. so lets hope that will help a little. We haven't even caught the stupid thing yet, its still out there somewhere :) But other than that I absolutely love living in my cute little house with the love of my life.
